[QUOTE=Madison boxing;20902097]recent match ups have been appalling bar lopez v lomachenko. youve got fights like tank v santa cruz, haney v gamboa, crawford v brook, most headline fights on the cards are some undefeated guy against a smaller or washed up fighter or in gamboas case both[/QUOTE

I will definitely give you Lopez vs Loma. That was a good fight.

We all knew tank was going to knock out Smaller Santa Cruz who had no defense.

Brook vs Crawford might had been my last straw with boxing. I was so pissed about Crawford’s whole career.

With ESPN plus you get tones of ufc and even their older fights. Plus the community of UFC are little bit younger so online they stay posting streams for their PPV. You can’t beat that.

When boxing is done right it’s the best sport in my opinion. However let’s be honest boxing is it’s own worst enemy and is the reason why it’s dying. The army. The fing American Army Sponsors UFC. What is that telling you man ? Boxing been around for hundreds of years I never seen a higher influencer sponsored them like the damn military.

I agree. But that’s the problem. Those fights are less happening and if they are happening the fight is past it’s sale date.

At this point I don’t want to see Crawford vs Thurman or Pacquiao.

I don’t want to see Tank vs Loma. Saunders vs GGG and etc. even Wildier vs Joshua doesn’t even sound good no more.

I will never forgive boxing for not giving us Stevenson vs Krusher.

However MMA is the sport that you are speaking about and honestly I have become a fan since I saw Israel Adesanya v Kevin gaustem due to their boxing (Striking) and stand up game. Back to the UFC they match their top champions against their number 1 guys most of the time.

That’s why Adesanya fought the hyped up Paulo costa without their fans having to wait 3 years, but that’s also because UFC do not work with their competitors. In boxing we have Arum who adopted that model for years until recently and we now have the PBC who are following that model.

No I know what I am talking about. I am taking about the ufc business model in general.

Crawford vs Spence has to happen if Spence beats Garcia.

But Spence vs Garcia is also a solid fight tbh.

I think foreman said something like "boxing is like jazz, the better it is, the less people appreciate it".

I mean who doesnt love a slugfest, but when a awesome tactician gets in there, man I'm just zoned in looking at all the little things they do. It's like freaking art

                      ^^^^^^^^^^^^

Half of the people here don’t like Floyd because he’s the master of hit and not get hit and the same thing with ward he’s boring. But I am crazy for enjoying mma more than this current state of boxing.
