    Hardest-Hitting Oldtimers

I know that Wilder, Foreman, Shavers, Tyson, Tua and Klitschko are often mentioned as the hardest hitting boxers of all-time.

In a p4p sense, I know Julian Jackson and Gman are also often mentioned, and I agree.

What are some oldtimers that have been reputed to have hit extremely hard by their peers?

I feel like the oldtimers don’t get their due in many of these all-time lists, but at the same time, I haven’t heard a lot about many oldtimers having ATG power, either at heavyweight or in the p4p sense.

I’d venture a guess that prime Archie Moore and JJW deserves some respect in that regard, as well as SRR and Graziano at the lower weights.

Any other names you think deserve a spot?

Cleveland Williams was a murderous puncher especially before he was very seriously injured in a shooting in 1964.

Yup, killed 2 men in the ring. Although, to be fair one of them had just recovered from Meningitis and had no business in the ring.

David Haye, he used to snap guys heads back like Berets. Foreman: his jab could move you, his right hand could break a mouth piece. Think about it we coulve had Michael Moorer grills had it been the other way around!

Also shavers like you mentioned was p4p the hardest hitting, making guys hallucinate with a shot, and able to hurt they're foot thru a head punch. I once remember Ali forgot rounds after getting hit by shavers.
