Wilder claims he’s the reason why the heavyweight division is back

    How true is this?

I need American posters to explain this to me since that man couldn’t even sell out a 3000 capacity arena in Alabama 2 yrs ago and the HW division has been back since 2016.

Well that means the Stiverne vs Wilder in 2015 was one of the best fights ever ? Ha

Vitalis retirement was more talked about then any Wilder fight .

Boxing came back with AJ vs Klitschko in 2017 , no one was even talking about Wilder they were talking about AJ and the Fury vs Wlad fight and their rematch which became the AJ fight .

Wilder is a legend in his own mind .

His last 2 fights in Alabama did on average 12,000 in attendance, man. But I myself was surprised how many casuals here I talked to Wilder about even before the Fury fights. His outspoken personality, big knockouts and dearth of american heavyweights doing anything made it possible for Wilder to occupy that space.

He’s a legend! Or how many boxers have had the luxury of being fed 41 bums in their careers whilst claiming to be the baddest man on the planet and the hardest puncher ever?

That’s legendary stuff right thurrr, mayne! Brrrrrr!

Fury dethroning Wlad and then all the belts getting divided up really brought back the division, then AJ putting on big events was another part.

Plus the fact there was a load of new fighters coming through where they were all closer in ability to the previous era, which was basically Wlad then a load of C level fighters, apart from a couple of others here and there.

Wilder played his part, but basically nobody cared much about him until Fury fought him, or before that, nobody cared much about Wilder other than wanting to see Wilder v AJ.

The fact it took Fury coming out of retirement for Wilder to have his PPV debut probably says a lot.

Jennings got more notoriety going the distance with Wlad then Wilder actually obtaining the WBC belt from Stiverne . Wilder wasn’t occupying any space and the big highlight of the win was Finkle telling everyone he’s not fighting Wlad or basically any top guys which made him look dumb and had the boxing community scratching their heads like they do now still but it’s now Wilder with the odd ball behavior.

                LMAOOO.

This booty scratching scammer and his perpetual long, delusional and idiotic posts, man.

Can you ever be factual in yer life? It’s either you’re innately dumb or your propensity to scam is an innate thing.

Give up - even r3tards know who singlehandedly brought the division back while Fury was as fat as wild boar.

Wilder didn't do shhit when he was champ. He couldn't even sell one ppv without fury.

From 2011-17, Wilder was knocking guys out, but he was a non-story.
In the same time, Chisora getting glassed by David Haye, followed by their fight. Tyson vs Haye building up but not happening. Tyson's story which led to the Klit fight and beating him. The rise of Anthony Joshua was also happening in the same time frame. AJ vs Dillian Whyte in Dec 15. AJ becoming champion and then defending vs Klit.

                    As for Wilder
-not doing fk all for yrs, not stepping up. maybe GBP were to blame? maybe his manager was protecting him?
-first fight with the pbc, was a world title fight...but he got into all that cringe ****. the crappy enterances, the costumes. going on WAGS of Atlanta, literally begging for exposure.
                    THEN
-Eddie Hearn saying "people dont know who wilder is in NY", whilst actually praising him and saying he should be a mega star.
-lou and winkle getting in their feelings and telling Wilder that EH was hating.
-Wilder getting hormonal over it, crying loads.
-promoting himself off the back of AJ's name
-getting the fight with Fury because they both saw each other as an easy stepping stone to the 9 figures vs AJ

the big money in the division is because of AJ. Perhaps even dazn's interest in boxing was because of AJ vs Klitschko. Perhaps without dazn's presence, espn would not have been arsssed about Tyson Fury?

AJ, Canelo, GGG and Fury got massive deals with broadcasters. Wilder really thought he was going to get a similar type of deal. When offered the chance to sign with matchroom, he said "i don't have to join eddie hearn, i can get my own deal like GGG". So he and al haymon went to this meeting expecting to thrash out their own little broadcasting deal with dazn thinking they were going to take EH's contract. Instead Wilder got offered a fight vs AJ. Pretty much dazn saying "we dont care about YOU, we just care about you fighting aj, nothing else"
                    so they sacked lou.

Wilder only took the Fury rematch because otto wallin nearly stopped fury. He thought fury's eye was a goner...and jumped at the chance.
