Just annoyed me how Joyce was saying he was a veteran and his manager (Sam Jones) was saying he fought world-class opposition in Jennings.

Seems a good 50/50 fight to me, can see both winning but think Joyce will eat that jab and right hand.
Joyce has boxed over decade , he has fought Usyk , Hrgovic and Yoka who he should have defeated . The experience isn’t even close between them . When DDD was 12 Joyce was trading leather with AJ on the U.K amateur squad .

Jennings would be DDD best win ,DDD has never fought an experienced former title contender beyond an aged Johnson or Olympic champs like Joyce has ,this shouldn’t be hard to figure out .

Joyce should be the actual favorite though stylistically he has a potential pitfall ducking to low into a DDD over hand right like Razor Ruddock did against Lewis .

Joyce definitely looked slower in his last outing due to his extra weight Mass Joyce's best bet is to come in at 250 or under to maximize his speed and reflexes

I am well aware of Joyce, he was a good amateur but has not translated that into the professional game yet and I have seen all his fights.

He's been a pro for 3 years, pretty much the same as DDD, and has a slightly better record.

Not sure about you, but I think they are on the same level?

This isn't Lomachenko we are talking about. Joyce is not some veteran of the amateur or pro game, or some brilliant boxer that can go into the pros and compete with the top 10 straight away.

Not sure if Jennings is even that good....... especially coming off a TKO loss....... nothing to shout home about.

How is Jennings not good in ten fights ? Joyce was caught early in the body but wasn’t fazed afterwards on the same shots . The crazy thing you guys come out with is when fighters are shot ? I think Jennings had the best training camp for that fight going into that match ,Joyce has the best going into DDD , there’s no doubt Joyce has the edge here if that’s good enough vs DDD raw talent we’ll see .

"How is Jennings not good in ten fights ?" - never said he wasn't good my man, just that his fights so far, after being a decorated amateur and at 35 years old, is pish.

" The crazy thing you guys come out with is when fighters are shot ?" - never said he was shot...... don't bring in other peoples opinions and try to attribute them to me. Thanks.

"you think" is the basis of this whole comment...... none of the points you made countered anything I said and/or is drivel

PS - Joyce was expected to beat a Jennings coming off a bad stoppage and did, but he made hard work of it and got hurt bad............... DDD smokes that version of Jennings IMO.

Regardless...... DDD ices Joyce within 6 rounds. I will bet all my points on it, if you are willing?

Joe Joyce. He is such a likable guy that I always convince myself that the next fight is the fight he is gonna really blow me away then I get let down, but the heavyweight scene has so many clowns that I find myself still being drawn back and hoping he can be what he thinks he is. Then he fights again and it happens again. Maybe he is faster with his cut weight and thank god Dubois has speeded up as when this was first talked about as potential match up these guys were so slow it would legitimately have been possible to watch on higher speed/fast forward.

I expected them to be closer myself, but DDD does seem to have a bigger fanbase & that can play into the odds.

I think Joe is gonna be a underdog moving forward vs top guys even if he KO's DDD in the 1st round. He's slow & very hittable. I think he's a fun watch either way & whatever happens vs DDD doe.

Based on what? I really don't understand the hype behind Dubois. Yes he looks good against poor opponents, but that's all we know about him.

He has never been tested at a decent level and until you see a fighter fight decent opponents, you never know where there limitations lie.

I have nothing against Dubois at all and see him as a potential world class fighter but he hasn't proven himself yet.

Joyce has a world class amateur record and is also unbeaten as a pro. He has a better record and is more experienced than Dubois. He ought to be favourite really.

I'm looking forward to this, it's the first real test for either as a pro and should answer a few questions.
