Well, Jennings was legit top 10, when he fought Wlad. And beating even shot jennings is still better than any win of Dubois.

Bryant Jennings is not world-class, never was.

He was TKO'd before he fought Joyce... so that ends the argument.

That's like saying you beat a top 5 in Whyte, right after he got sparked by Povetkin....... or Joshua is the best boxer in the world, after he got sparked by Ruiz.......they are obviously not that big or good if they got TKO'd in their last fight. (see what I am saying?).

Of course....... DDD is the up-and-comer and Joe Joyce is basically the same level at 35.

Just annoyed me how Joyce was saying he was a veteran and his manager (Sam Jones) was saying he fought world-class opposition in Jennings.

Seems a good 50/50 fight to me, can see both winning but think Joyce will eat that jab and right hand.

Dubois has yet to fight anyone of Jennings' caliber.
He is still green in my book.
Until he passes the Joe Joyce test he will continue to be untested to me.

And for those who watched the interview or 'face to face'........ since when was Jennings world class?

To be fair to Jennings when he was coming on the scene he beat a few decent names & got himself into a WBC final eliminator position by taking the “0” from Spzlika then Mike Perez. I can’t recall who he was going to fight but declined the eliminator because Klitschko ended up giving him a shot. That is where it ended for him as a possible contender. He got pasted by Ortiz in his next fight. He went 5-0 building himself back up against limited opposition then got KO’d by Rivas in the 12th in a fight he was winning. The Joyce fight was close but still 0-3 against better opponents since the Klitschko loss. Jennings did pretty well for a guy with little to no amateur experience. Made a little money & fought on the big stage. His best win was Mike Perez. I think Jennings is a decent name on Joyce’s resume even if it was a declining version. Joyce is 35 & only has 11 fights on his resume. Too little too late in my opinion. He has some good attributes but the bookies really are against him here. Dubois is still untested in my opinion so I still have a tough time picking a winner. With the odds made I would have to say 60/40 Dubois because of youth & power.

Agree with all of the above................ but Jennings was coming off a TKO loss in the fight before Joyce.

I watched the fight live....... Joyce looked like shiat as well and I seem to remember a certain body-shot that landed and had Joyce running for a few rounds.

Not meaning to downcry either...... I believe it's a 50/50, in so much as I can't be certain who will win.

I am just wanting to focus on the two points -1. that Joyce is a veteran (according to himself) and 2. Jennings was a world-class opponent (when Joyce fought him is easy, when Wlad fought him is easy). Edit: - to argue I mean lol

I really like Joyce and think he will shock Dubois for a few rounds - but he just gets hit in the head too often. Against a proper big puncher like DD he could be in trouble. Pretty sure he got stopped or put down in the amateurs so no reason to think it won't happen in the pros
