Both guys are saying what they should say publicly. I think Spence having the 2 belts should warrant a favorable split but I know that Crawford agreeing to it publicly before having a real negotiation leaves him no wiggle room when that moment comes.

Also, him downplaying the significance of a Spence fight is also a way to avoid giving additional leverage to Spence in the public negotiations. This will take time.

In other words, I know I would lose so I rather stick to fighting these worn out bums. He got a good beating against some Lithuanian guy who's name we don't even know and then he lost every round against "damaged goods" Brook till he landed his lucky punch. He knows he has no defence and that he can not get away with that against Spence.

Remember the video where he said he would bet a million on himself and now he's all about taking the bigger cut, for a so called champion who believes he deserves to be put into the HOF he sure is not acting like he wants the fight. So far not one worthy opponent on his record and instead of saying 50/50 is fair he's trying to avoid the fight by asking a cut which he clearly does not deserve.

Crawford is pricing himself out, Spence has sold more PPV’s. He is the bigger draw. 50-50 would be fair. Crawford isn’t delusional, he knows he isn’t a big draw or can sell a lot of PPV’s so he should get off his high horse.
