At least now we dont have to get our hopes up. Crawford will never ever get 60%. 50% was longshot. 55/45 spence. So we move on even if he joins Haymon never would get 60%. know hes not afraid but priced himself out

Spence, citing his pay-per-view numbers and the attendance he drew in his fights, believes he has the greater commercial profile, thus he deserves a bigger piece of the pie.

This right here is the key:

I can’t complain,” a resigned Crawford added. “Of course I want the big fights but like I said I’m cool. I’m making good money.

Crawford obviously has different priorities and unless those priorities change, we won't see the fight.

That would be unfortunate, however it doesn't seem like he cares one way or the other as long as he's "making good money".

I do see one scenario, which may or may not happen, where the fight could happen:

      1. Crawford leaves Top Rank and becomes a free agent

      2. He is free to face PBC welterweights and the "good money" becomes whatever purse split he is offered

      3. He initially balks but then realizes that he will probably make less without Top Rank if he faces lesser opponents. Crawford then accepts whatever "good money" is offered to face Spence or whoever else.

If those things happen then I could see Spence-Crawford happening. Until then, I don't see it.

Now we know we are NEVER seeing this fight. Spence’s team will never agree to 40%.

Look Crawford is right now that he

Destroyed Brook in the way I. Which he did plus his accomplishments at other weights, I agree! We can negotiate however once Spence get if he get past Garcia, let’s not jump the gun; this is no gimme for real! I like both guys and think Crawford is the more complete fighter, but that doesn’t always aquate to being the best between the two.

45/45 with the winner getting the additional 10% share.

#2 and #3 is a no go. Tim Bradley.

#1 is most likely - but is he smart enough to do it? And frankly, he said he doesn't want to self promote and NSB agrees, so

Because we're talking about your WELTERWEIGHT achievements.
Crawford is PFP #1 because of his lightweight, super lightweight, and welterweight achievements.

Crawford has no close fights, none. Crawford is 1 of 2 undisputed/lineal champs in at least past decade (Usyk being other).

Crawford is - by far - the more accomplished and prestigious fighter.

Its a shame he hasnt had the chance to prove that against PBC WWs but i suspect only Spence or Porter could give him a fight.

Thurman likely ends in TKO, Danny is a UD, and I hate to say it but i dont think Manny sees 12.

#1, yes he does need Spence or someone else elite that is not 42 year old Pacquiao on his win column

#2, most would agree that he should get the lions sjhare in a fight with Spence but the split is debatable when Spence can draw far more fans in Dallas than Bud can anywhere in the world
How are you so convinced when Spence the one saying 60/40 I'd feel the same exact way as Crawford after everything
