Unfortunately we have seen this type of issues before, we should just forget about this fight.

We had Wilder saying the same s hit when he had one belt, zero PPV sales under his name and biggest purse was 2.1m pre the Fury fights and he got tonnes of backing for turning the fight down because he had the “mOsT PreStiGiOUs” belt in whole of boxing.

Am sure though who supported his stance then shouldn’t have an issue with the top P4P asking for more here with less belts and one PPV event under his belt.

Those alpha-belts mean nothing these days. They've lost their value. It's belts before legacy and this, sadly, is modern boxing - so rarely do we get the true superfights and why it's refreshing that AJ and Fury were prepared to deflate their egos a little bit just to get their superfight/supremacy fight made, and I think we can say it just about qualifies as that. I know right. And boxers who use the I want 60-40 argument, never mention the winners take the extra cut. For the reason they're scared of losing. And obviously in the event of a draw they take 10 percent each of the 20% pot making it 50-50. Boxers need to start getting called out on this. You so confident of winning, put the spare 20% in the pot and knock the guy you are fighting out if you fear the judges. Too many excuses, ducking and diving in this sport sometimes.

This is what he should say. I may not agree but I also don't agree with him accepting 40% before negotiations begin. If he agreed that he deserves 40% before negotiations began they could get him to agree to less during negotiations.
