You always know when Mike is on point watching him throughout his career, he looks insanely sharp for a guy who hasn’t had a fight forever ,he would defeat the majority of top guys now given real training camps and active fights .
I agree with all this. I would even give Tyson a chance against the cream of the crop today when is is in fighting shape. As you said the videos show he is working out and looking sharp. I know that doesnt always carry over to the actual fight for some but a motivated Mike Tyson at 5o plus is a dangerous man in the first quarter of any fight.

I’d place him top 5 heavyweight right now , he would have to look very bad against Jones to unconvince me otherwise. Mikes an exceptional athlete ,he won’t ever be at peak speed but he can be a smarter fighter still being one of the faster ones today which is another danger in itself. It’s easy for posters to laugh him off but they aren’t the ones taking the punches . My guess if they walked by him in the middle of training they would quickly look away if they made eye contact with him .

I just watched Roys last fight in 2018, against a journeyman and it looked like a sparring session / exhibition match. The guy was clearly given his marching orders, this is Roy's farewell fight, let him get off a few and give the crowd one last Roy fight. He was even holding back from throwing with full power on inside body punches in the clinch.

Roys best boxing success in the last 10 years was going the distance with a shop worn Hopkins.

I think Tyson can pressure, close the distance and land on him and it will be lights out, Roys chin and legs are gone. Tyson is gone too dont get me wrong he gets leveled by any top 100 or top 200 heavyweight. But I think he catches Roy and he still will have power.

Whatever happens, I hope both of them dont continue fighting, either one wins and feels like they "still have it" they are just going to get KTFO and that is bad news for a 50 year old brain.

I STRONGLY Disagree with you about a Top 200 rated Heavyweight could “LEVEL” Mike Tyson today. Have you seen how poor Fighters ranked that low in today’s heavyweight division are? I reckon mike could KO wilder tbh with you. EDIT: just to name a couple Guys mike would handily beat in my opinion::
        Eric Molina
        Johan duhaupas
        Robert Helenius
        David price
        Dave Allen (Just retired)
That’s just 5 and I haven’t even bothered to check where they was ranked but pretty sure it be in the top 100 or 200.

I really don't feel like Tyson will be able to pressure him at all, I think he will be stood there static and barely able to move.

Alot of the guys on here talking bad about Tyson have probably never been in the gym much less laced up gloves. What people dont understand is muscle memory is a real thing. Mike Tyson put on boxing gloves everyday for a huge portion of his life and age cant erase that. Combined with proper diet and exercise Mike Tyson is a dangerous man. I agree with a top 5 heavyweight too. The division really isnt that deep and all the top guys have fundamental flaws honestly.

Yes on video but there was never a time MIke didn’t show up in what you saw .

The simple fact is people are forgetting he’s one of the most destructive heavyweight fighters of all time averaging 3 rounds a fight when he went for the kill and standing in front of him is Roy Jones not a killer heavyweight which would be needed to even get out of the first couple rounds .
Interesting find! That I didn't know. Although I have a high IQ, I really wish I had a thick skull like Tyson, lol...or maybe I do, not sure...at least in case I hit my head on something! Glad I didn't box!

If Tyson lands even a solid jab, Roy will be in SERIOUS trouble, and I think Tyson has a good chance of landing a solid jab tbh
