If Carl Froch was from Brooklyn and had a trainer who wore a baseball cap and called him "champ" and "baby" and a big momma in the stands who yelled "dass what I'm talking bout" then he would be a P4P ATG

    Telling ya now.

            Excellent resume.

Knocked out Jermain Taylor when the latter was still a force.
            Beat a young Jean Pascal.
Revenged the loss vs Mikkel Kessler.
Dominated Arthur Abraham when the latter was picked as the winner by many.
Destroyed the myth surrounding Lucian Bute.
He struggled in the first George Groves fight, but knocked the shìt out of the latter in the second.
Only Andre Ward beat him convincingly.

Great fighter. We will even forgive the nose job.

B level guy who achieved a hell of a lot based on his talent.

When he fought an A level guy in Ward though he got completely outclassed.

I dunno man, I thought Taylor was damaged goods after the Pavlik losses. I also thought Kessler was way past his prime when Carl got his W back.

Pascal was his best win, at the time it didn’t look that impressive but look what Pascal went onto achieve following that loss.

I won a lot of money on him beating that hype job Bute too, Carl was a savage that night. Absolutely obliterated him.

Was simply out of his depth against Ward. Not a big Ward fan stylistically but he was a special fighter. I thought Dirrell beat him too tbh. They were his only bad fights in terms of watchability, very enjoyable career to follow.

Solid but overrated fighter. An overachiever for sure. Wouldn't have been a world champion in the days of one title per weight class. His record could have very easily looked quite different too. Best performances were against Pascal and Bute.

On a personal level, narcissistic and consumed by insecurities in spite of his success.

This might be controversial, but Froch would've beaten Ward in 15, Andre was totally running on empty by the end of that fight.

Don't get me wrong, Froch is my guy but Ward had too much for him.
