    We heard that one before.
It can be said of anybody that had a 2 yr lay off that the rest beat themselves up during the lay off, empty BS.

Is that supposed to win a point, come on girl you can do better than that.

      You know that, right?

      Or don’t you?
Are you implying that the kickboxer faked it? Because it don't look like Floyd was..

He was "retired" when prime Margarito, William's, Cotto, etc. surfaced. He is "retired" when Thurman, Spence, Crawford came a knocking, but the phone is ringing for Berto and McGregor.
Nah he just ducked out of the division to avoid all of those prime guys. But your excuse did sound ok.

Lots of difference between fact and opinion, you seem to have lots of opinion.

Keep making up excuses for this guy
He retired for 18 months at the age of 30.

He’s been retired for 3 years now at 43 a few months shy of 44.

He won’t box professionally again unless he needs the money.

Faked what? What are you talking about?

Are you aware that Mayweather-Tenshin was an exhibition bout and not a professional boxing match?

I’m genuinely unsure if you are even aware.

In that article they did not mention the word exhibition anywhere.
Just face it your boy is a cherrypicker whether it's a pro boxing match or otherwise. I am with the thread starter he raises a valid point that is shared everywhere.

Why dont you look a little deeper one article is not the all and end all.

Mayweather had flown to Tokyo after being offered $9million by Japanese MMA promotion RIZIN for a three-round exhibition against the 20-year-old kickboxer. Their idea was to have the unbeaten prospect massively develop his global profile by sharing the ring with one of the most recognisable faces on the planet

And here is the ESPN headline after the Event.

Floyd Mayweather stops Tenshin Nasukawa in exhibition
Floyd Mayweather dusted off the boxing gloves to stop Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in the first round of their welterweight exhibition match on New Year's Eve.

Floyd flew in his own ref just in case though. Same guy that allows him to use elbows, hold and hit, etc
