Who actually has more power between Canelo and GGG?

    Two monstrous punchers.

GGG has 35 KOs out of his 40 wins.
Canelo has 36 KOs out of his 53 wins.

In terms of pure one-punch power who hits harder between them?

In other words, would you rather take a flush shot from Canelo, or a flush shot from Triple G?

If I was a pro boxer in divisions somewhere 160 -168, I would rather fight Canelo.

Canelo: nice payday, you probably get schooled or robbed on cards.

Triple G: nice payday, you probably get ****ing knocked out ( if you are not very tough dude like Jacobs or Derevyanchenko).

Money is not worth of brain damage.

At his peak, Golovkin was inflicting traumatic damage on his opponents 'Tough opponents like Martin Murray'.

Canelo Alvarez beats his opponents, but they are not traumatized.

Kell Brook was a extremely durable fighter, his career was ruined by Golovkin 'Silly match up for him to take'.

GGG hits harder and has a more of a killer instinct but Canelo has more grit and probably a better pressure puncher IMO

If Khan took a right hand KO punch from GGG instead of Canelo, he would still be on the canvas as we speak.

If were talking head to head, they both seem to hurt each other about equally, golovkin fought him more cautiously then Jacobs.

And both took each others punches pretty damn well considering they went 24 rounds and maybe only got buzzed by each other a few times

And they were throwing some monster shots

The Golovkin in his 20's and early 30's is a completely different puncher than the one of the past few years. He doesn't seem to have the snap he used to. If you look at his career, it's insane how many guys he has stopped due to injuries or how many cuts he's caused from punches. It takes a special puncher to consistently injure guys.

Golovkin in his prime. He didn't need to wind up like Canelo to generate power. From what I saw in his last fight he's lost power on his punches.

definitely it's GGG. based from the k.o ratio. and compare the two from their matches.. GGG possessed a hammer fist.

GGG at his peak definitely had more pure punching power.
Canelo is more of a counter puncher. Will break you down and if the KO is there he will take it.
GGG looked spectacular against guys he knew couldn’t hurt him. He could be patient and set up his KO shots. He would often eat punches to get his shots off.
Once he stepped up to elite MW it was a much different story.
