Porter said that Brook didn't do what a fighter is supposed to do in that situation. No clinching, no trading, he did nothing. He said Brook had the energy & strength to keep himself up, but he didn't want to fight anymore because "he's no longer a warrior."

Crawford-Spence is the fight, but I want to see the Crawford-Porter fight now more than ever. Crawford has been on a knock out streak for years. After Porter went off on Brook for quitting, I want to see Porter take his shot at Bud.

Here's the flaw in Anthony's logic (think outside of yourself).

    Amir Khan vs. Danny Swift.

When Khan took that first No Look Hook™ he was OUT OF IT. Yet he went forward against Swift (to his detriment).

    Tyson Fury vs. Wilder.

First KD, Fury goes forward. Second KD, Fury goes forward.

    Thurman vs. Pacquiao.

Keef gets dropped, gets up and goes forward.

    Even F'n Broner against Chino!

I agree with Shawn. That shot would not have caused the level of "out of it" worse than the one Wilder landed on Fury. Hell no.

What we saw with Brook is what we saw with Ortiz vs. Collazo. Period.

Brook retired the moment that punch landed.

Shame Shawn ain't have the punch to do what Errol, Gennady, and Bud did to Brook.

I'm glad you posted that video to show everyone that Brook got hit with a legit shot, not a love tap. He also ran into it because he was throwing a right hand at the same time, which added to the impact.

The key words are "Wilder" and "Fury" though. Wilder's shot on Fury has nothing to do with Terrence Crawford's shot on Kell Brook because everyone's punch resistance is different. Also, Brook ran into the shot because he was throwing his own right hand at the same time.

                  As for your examples:

The ref could have waved off the fight for Amir Khan after that shot just like the ref waved off the fight for Kell Brook. Khan was done at that point.

Fury is a big guy with a great chin and he took those shots from someone weighing 40 lbs. less. Brook came down in weight which may or may not have affected his punch resistance. Either way it's apples and oranges.

Keith Thurman got caught pulling back (with the punch vs running into it) so it was more of a flash knockdown than anything. Again, apples to oranges

The first knockdown was Broner getting caught with an overhand shot because he was expecting a jab. He wasn't in the midst of throwing a shot and he's always had a good chin.

Exactly, plus he ran into the shot because he was throwing a right hand at the same time.
