If PBC makes all the big inhouse fights before taking a gamble on Crawford then they maximize their earnings. I don't like it but it's what we probably get.

The WBO hopefully orders Crawford-Porter and Porter gets more than 25% so we can at least get that.

If Spence doesn't get that fight then I think there's a good chance he's going up to 154 in '21.

On an aside, there's other unifications that potentially could be made next year:

Fury/Wilder v Joshua/Pulev(Usyk) to unify heavyweight. Imo this would be more important for boxing than Crawford-Spence.

I could also see Crawford facing the Taylor-Ramirez winner during this time. If Porter is ordered then I can’t defend Crawford-Porter not happening unless Bud gets the Pacquiao fight instead. I say that because all of these guys would bypass each other for a big money fight with Manny.

At this point Crawford might need to reconsider his position if he truly wants to face an elite opponent. The PBC guys have each other while Bud only has the Taylor-Ramirez winner on the horizon with an outside shot at Pacquiao if Manny doesn’t retire first.
