Make no mistake, believe you me, he'll just want to get home safe to his wife and Tony Bellew's kids. Without a shadow of a doubt.

Second, was Lara old when Canelo fought him? Or Jacobs, or Trout, or Mayweather, GGG was undefeated and the true middleweight champion when they fought. Don't pick and choose to fit you're narrative, why aren't as critical of Crawford for fighting old man Brook? Old man Khan and now wants to fight old man Pacquiao? Even though I think old man Pacquiao still gives Crawford a run for his money. No hater here, I'm critical of trolls on this site who only come to hate because of their own insecurities and living in their momma's basement, instead of actually talk boxing and facts.
2. After 35 no fighter is at his prime. Biology doesn't work this way. Still can be helluva a fighter, but just not in prime. GGG-35, Kovalev-36, Mayweather -35 or 36. Lara wasn't old, no. Who else have you got? Jacobs, Trout are not on GGG-Mayweather-Kovalev level no matter how you spin it. Good, but not there. So...where is picking and choosing?

How does Smith adjust from the way he pushed his punches against Ryder? That will determine everything. He could run away with a win if he can adjust correctly. Keep at range and use angles. He doesn't last 6 if he fights down the same way he fought Ryder.
