It seems like Canelo is hellbent on fighting this year though. I don't think he wants to go the year without fighting so I'm sure he's fighting regardless this December.

Yea I agree. A PPV fight needs more time to sell doe. So it was likely down between TR/ESPN & DAZN if December was not up for debate for Canelo.

Its just that December was an extremely ambitious goal and extremely more difficult to make happen when basically every network will basically have to be doing you a favor to pull it off and since Canelo is a free agent, theirs no possible future returns for this favor.

I am sure the problem Canelo is facing right now is that whoever did offer him something for December wanted OPTIONS such as they get Canelos next fight or next 2 etc and that is obviously not something Canelo wants to jump right back into days out of getting out of a lockdown contract.

Canelo should just realize this year is a bust for you and refocus your energy on 2021.
