Second, it didn't matter about size with Horn. He basically used the Andy Ruiz strategy, wait for the other guy to come in and then rush in afterwards. Porter doesn't do that. Porter won't wait, he'll just go.

Porter walked through Formella's punches, walked through Danny's No Look Hook™ (lots of them), walked through Thurman's punches, walked through Spences punches until the one he didn't see and even then he was still gameface all the way to the last bell.

Berto was also landing on him when Porter would try to rush in, sharpshooter shots. Berto actually had great success early on countering the linebacker. I see Crawford having a similar strategy. But as we saw, it wasn't enough. Porter still got inside, still was able to rough Berto up and eventually got him out of there.

Nobody has been able to substantially hurt Shawn Porter. Nobody. The only guy who was able to even nullify Porter was Ugas, and that's because Porter fancied himself a Floyd Mayweather wannabe with his fight strategy.

I said it before - full linebacker Porter is a tough out for EVERYONE.
I definitely think it would be Crawford's toughest fight. I just think he will start to figure Porter out and he'll be hitting Shawn with hard shots coming in & coming out. Crawford has proven himself a great finisher.

It's the fight I want to see if Crawford doesn't fight Spence next.

I like Porter a lot, but everyone who's set out to rough up and manhandle Crawford or otherwise make it uncomfortable for him up close has ended up well beaten or even knocked out. If any one thing defines Crawford, it's his ability to adapt to his opponent and counteract them on the fly, and I don't see any reason why Crawford wouldn't figure out Porter just as easily. I'd still like to see that fight though, I think it'd be very exciting.

I don't think Porter has any great performances left in him. His style ages badly and he's been in tough with Brook, Thurman, Garcia, Ugas, and Spence and he didn't look good to me in his last fight.
