Porter is ranked #1 by the WBO and Crawford's mandatory. If Porter doesn't fight Crawford its because he chose not to.

Porter can't start slow or he'll be destroyed once Crawford gets warmed up.

Crawford is not stopping Shawn Porter if Spence couldn't do it.

Crawford and Brook both said it's hard to compare what Spence and Crawford did to two versions of Brook.

But it would easier to compare their performances against Porter. Porter in the first half of 2021 will be more or less the same to the Porter who fought Spence in September of 2019.

IF, and it's a big if, Crawford did stop Porter. That would be a massive statement.

It was already known that Brook was YEARS away from the guy that schooled Shawn Porter. So no, everyone knew there was a decline, just not how much.

With Porter, yes, I believe Porter is as sharp as he's going to get. His performance against Formella showed me that he's no longer as unrefined as he was against Broner, for example, or Berto. He knows when he needs to be the linebacker and when he needs to box.

Him getting arguably beat by Ugas likely woke him up and told him, you can't box 12. You have to be the linebacker and use it smart. Which is why he went so close with Spence.

I can see Porter beating Crawford. Porter is not a hard puncher, but he is strong man. Crawford won`t stop him. Porter was a middleweight as an amateur, if I am not mistaken. I can see him beating Crawford in ugly way, like Salido beat Lomachenko.
