That's not bad, there was a head clash prior to the eye damage. You cannot say without a doubt that that headbutt didn't do it and you can't without a doubt say a jab did it, so the call stands.
Ward was harping on that he doesnt believe that the clash they saying it could be wasn't "SIGNIFICANT" enough to do that damage, but we can't let subjective opinion to sway a standard or else the replay protocol opens itself up to manipulation.
Unless there is clear evidence that the call is wrong the call will stand.
Boxing fans are just too emotional and refuse to check their emotions and opinions at the door and handle the situation unbiasly and professionally.

I wont argue on here whether it was robbery or not. I will say the jab did the more significant damage to the eye and if the 3rd fight happens itll be hard for Maloney to keep that momentum that he had starting the second fight.Comment
