Brook was an elite fighter at one time but that was a while ago. As a fighter ages his punch resistance goes and even more so with Brook who has suffered some beat downs at the hands of Golovkin and Spence. As fight fans we're always hoping for a top level, competitive fight but I thought this fight was a dog the day they signed the contract. But that's boxing, right?
He was never elite, he was good world class but he was never an elite talent.
Anyway this whole fight was a foregone conclusion, yeah Brook was going to get the best win of his career at this stage of it, lol.
Tells us more about how shot Kell Brook is as good as Leo Santa Cruz.
LSC is not that good man, sorry to break the news to ya. And that fight was at 130 not 126. Kell doesn't seem to have much punch resistance left either.
See, I analyze situations objectively and go from there. Crazy isn't it.
I've noticed that the vast majority of fans who are making it a point to hate on Crawford are either pac fans who are threatened by Crawford's status in the welterweight division (because they still like to pretend that it's 2009 and that pac is the man)..and the other group is canelo fans who are threatened by Crawford's pound for pound status because that threatens their idols ranking. So they'll constantly argue against Crawford's level of opposition but will ignore that Canelo got his p4p ranking by beating a 36 yr old washed up alcoholic who was fighting for the 2nd time in 10 weeks (Kovalev) and prior to that got dubious scorecards in 2 fights with ggg. Go figure.
Yep agreed. And then oddly, a lot of PBC fans see Crawford as the enemy too, even though them hating him is so silly to me. Seems like he would be the guy to latch on to imo, if they are really trying to fill the void Floyd left. For me Crawford is probably the most skilled guy out there pfp, him or Loma.
I feel a lot of the hate on Crawford's resume is over the top as well. But I guess when you win everything clean and easy, that's the only trash talk someone can have.
