I suppose, in the interest of his health, maybe Porter makes more sense than Bud, but does Pac really need to keep fighting just to make a match with a top contender like Porter? Porter is a name fighter, but there is no real significance to that fight. I only see Pac fighting big names or for some new title. Just fighting Crawford puts Pac in rare company for balls. If he doesn't fight Bud, I bet he goes after Mikey Garcia at 140 and retires. Even at 42, he'll still take Mikey.

It would be quite insane for Crawford to fight Alvarez. Alvarez is a much bigger man. Not even sure he could make 160 at this point. Crawford would be beaten silly.

Pac does not have Marquez or Mayweather problem, both of them don’t want any part of Pac no matter how much Pac wants to fight them again. As for Horn, he’s irrelevant in boxing right now and he didn’t beat Pac, the judges and the referee made him win just like the judges made Bradley win his first fight vs. Pac.

Pac made around $30 million against Algieri, $30 million against Matthysse and a little less than that against Rios but Arum was not willing to pay Pac a guaranteed $20 million against Crawford when both of them were in Top Rank under Arum. You’ll be a hypocrite not to fight those B level guys if you’re making that much money each time you fight them. It’s Arum who killed the Pac vs Crawford fight and he said it himself, he said he did it because he was worried about Pac’s health. But now that Pac is 41, all of a sudden, he wants to arrange the fight, what a big liar!
