Ok I get Manny beat Thurman but that was 1 year and 4 months ago. The last time Manny had that long of a layoff in his entire career was after he got robbed in the Horn fight and fought Matthysse almost exactly 1 year later. I don’t like Manny going into a Bud fight, at 41, with that much time off. At least when he fought Thurman, that was only a 6 month layoff after beating Broner. And Bud is the more active fighter after just beating Brook. If they make a fight with Manny, he will have a little over 2 years layoff and 42 years old. It’s just a money grab & bag for Bud, that’s all.

Only (1) fighter has looked good at 41 & 42 and that’s BHop beating Tarver, Wright, & Pavlik, & losing a decision to Calzaghe. Don’t do it Manny.

And Thurman was a lame duck with major issues, Bud is hitting his peak now with nothing wrong at all he will tear Manny up its all wrong for Manny to be honest I cannot see them wanting anything to do with Crawford.

not sure who you think beats him at 147 or who you think is the best fighter in the world but I think if these once guys step up Crawford gets the chance to prove it over the next 2 yrs, it’d be clear he’s the best.

That's debatable. What's not is these guys have been at the top of the division and all have fought each other in different combos. Spence fought Porter and soon will face Garcia. Porter fought Garcia, Thurman, and Spence. Thurman fought Pacquiao, Garcia, and Porter. And Garcia fought Porter, Thurman, and now Spence.

None of those were stoppages. All of them were highly entertaining fights. They were throwing bombs til the final bell. We haven't seen how Crawford would react vs a WW that pushes him. He definitely impressed in how he handled Brook. However he was getting out jabbed by a man who was at a 5 inch reach disadvantage. Was getting caught too.

What people don't understand is all those top WW at PBC have pretty good defense. And majority have pretty good jabs. Spence, Thurman, Porter, Garcia jab aint bad either. I just hope he either stays a free agent or comes over to PBC to make those fights happen.
