This is boxing, one of the oldest sports in the world where they make it up as they go.

I think it’s more of boxing feeling the pressure to evolve alongside with other major sports where there’s rule changes every season and use of replays in most major sports now. Other sports trying to better themselves and now boxing is trying to do the same. Boxing’s trying. We will say that much.
