Cotto vs. Urkal December 2nd?

If Arum is able to broker an option with Urkal where he has to fight the following fight under Arum, then he might be able to convince Quintana that the winner will face him in the next fight. If that happens, he can throw $100,000 to Quintana ahead of time and then just let Cotto take on Urkal.

That's what promoters do. I'm sure Urkal would rather fight Cotto for more money and thus might just allow the next fight to go under Arum's banner. He guarantees himself two fights because he can wait for Cotto-Quintana and fight the winner.

A very good fight for Cotto but I feel this is not being fair to Quintana. Quintana and Urkal should be settling the issue first before Cotto get's his shot.

Quintana might allow this fight to happen only if he is going to be allowed to fight the winner.

Was Cotto just on a fight-by-fight contract with HBO? I imagine Arum's still mad that they carried Tarver-Hopkins up against the Cotto fight that had already been scheduled...
