Brook turned down many fights. Could have fought Bradley for the WBO title but chose to fight sum euro bum in a IBF eliminator. Could have fought Alexander as well unified with Jessie Vargas.

To me, Brook couldve played a more viable and visible role in the welterweight division - he couldve given anyone of these existing dudes some serious business - even Pac....

But Risking a dangerous eye socket fracture to convince yourself youre capable of dealing with anyone at lower weight isnt too smart - it took away from past available fights that 'could have been,' and it also altered his style considerably by having to over-protect the eye....Spence damaged the other one most likely for this very reason.

Although I do predict a good fight with Crawford, I see Bud slowly rackin' up the points with his superb switch up sharpshooting......Both of Brooks eye sockets "may" act up which will totally have Brook resorting to wrestling or relying too much on that backfoot.... The way Brook SUPERBLY stood his ground to negate aggressive Porter might not be there anymore.

I know I am in the minority here, but this is why I don't care much for fighters moving up big in weight class. I'd rather just see fighters fighting at whatever is there BEST weight class. Fight where you can be your best or most dominant. I'd rather watch fighters at their best then at less than.

Of course this would work best if they got rid of all the 'in-between' super and jr. weight classes.

Some had glass chins, Brook had glass sockets. Those sockets are repaired now, so Brook is solid. UPSET!

Brook is all of that and a bag of chips now, but once Bud rolls him, he will become a "bum" in the minds of the Crawford haters.

That's right, there were fights in his own division that brook chose not to.pursue.

He took the Golovkin fight for one reason; the big £££s hearn was offering. Not a bad reason for a prizefighter but, with hindsight, looks like another bad career decision.

                      crawford summed it up perfectly

hearn and brook together, the perfect storm for that decision
