Not a fan of Eddie. I think he's filth like all boxing promoter's.
But it's nice to read him say that the women in boxing are refreshing compared to the Voluntary/Tune up/Side of the street /Contract ducks in every male division.
The women not wanting to wait is refreshing and commendable, though if they want to get paid they haven'tgot alot of choice.
Still they're showing the men how its done & have much bigger ball's than most male belt holders.

Aye but,,,, the best teams of each league then play in the champions league, the winners of which play in the international super cup.
You always find out who is the best...
It’s took me years to realise that pro boxing isn’t a real competitive sport, it’s more skin to WWE just with real fights.

Every 4 years you have the world cup where all the best players (with a couple of exceptions) play.

Its a shame Boxing can't do the same. Can you imagine the matchups? Amazing cards

What is this obsession with the one champion thing?

The more belts the better in my opinion.

People will always complain, even if there was 1 belt per division 'Because that is what people do'.

You guys are right but in those cases it's still governed by UEFA or FIFA who have ultimate authority over the sport regionally and worldwide. Boxing doesn't have any international authority. The ABC orgs think they do, but they don't.

The WBSS was a great idea, but even still you had “champs” opting out, like Zurdo at super mid, Ramirez at light welter etc etc

Anyone who supports loads of belts is brainwashed and deluded, this isn’t how it should be, outsiders laugh about it when you explain it, how can you have 4 world champs at the same time? Just repeat that over and over before you try and defend it.

That's the thing. They're not world champs. They're WBC champs, IBF champs. Closest thing you have to a world champion is the lineal concept which most boxers couldn't care less about. It's just about money.
