Comments Thread For: Crawford vs. Brook ESPN Weigh-In Report From Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS A shredded Kell Brook looked confident Friday once the numbers 147 flashed across the official scale.

Before Friday, the former IBF welterweight champion hadn't squeezed down to that division's 147-pound limit in nearly 3 years. Now that he has made weight for his shot at Terence Crawford's WBO welterweight title, the 34-year-old Brook can pack on as much weight as he wants before he enters the ring Saturday night at MGM Grand Conference Center.

Brook looks ready to give Crawford hell. Brook has the skills and strength to win this.

This interview with both fighters and Max is awkward as hell.

TC looks like he is putting on a bit more muscle at WW - never looked like he really worked on his strength or maybe I wasn't paying close enough attention. but anyway, he looks in great shape now at WW. May need it as Brook was always a strong WW himself. Both guys have good skill and styles, hoping for good action!!

This should be easy work for Crawford, Brook has not fought anyone relevant in a while, not to mention he hasn't fought at 147 in a while as well. I believe that will come into factor later in the fight, draining yourself at his age usually doesn't equal good results. I think Crawford is very talented but it's sad to see he's not putting those talents against other top fighters. Let's not forget that it could of been Porter across the ring tomorrow but he picked this dude. In my opinion when you call yourself P4P best, you shouldn't be fighting guys who you're considered a 14 to 1 favorite, at that level you should be fighting guys were the odds are 50/50 or maybe a slight favorite, but what do I know.
