This is how I feel. I was looking forward to the matchup between Oubaali and Nonito. Rodriguez is about as good of a replacement as one could get. I had no clue who was going to win between the Frenchman and Donaire, I think the Filipino Flash gets Rodriquez out of there in the late rounds.

I expect Boots to stop Dulorme. The Puerto Rican could have beaten James in his last fight but just didn't do enough. He's solid but I think he will be overwhelmed by the skills and physical ability of Ennis.

Despite all my pro Chicano rhetoric, Nonito Donaire is my favorite active boxer. The Filipino Flash is nothing but class.

We will see how good rodriguez really is. Is he really good like how many people think and was just unfortunate against inoue or is he just a regular dude who beat a regular former champ in paul butler?

Nonito Donaire really impressed me in his last fight against Naoya Inoue. That was an incredible back, and forth fight with intense action. Donaire was doing a number on Inoue, and if Inoue hadn't had the heart of true champion he would of lost his title on that night. Now as other subscribers on this site have pointed out, we shall see just how good Emmanuel Rodriguez really is. If he isn't all of what he was being purported to be as a fighter, boxer, etcetera, Donaire will expose him, and quite possibly take knock him out. I don't think this is the case, and although Rodriguez doesn't fight often enough he should be able to display his boxing abilities. If he can beat a Nonito Donaire, he deserves a title fight straight away, like the British like to say. I'm looking forward to this fight because it'll answer a lot of questions, on exactly where both of these fighters are in their career's. It should be an excellent fight between two highly skilled fighters in their weight division.

I hope you're wrong on your prediction, picking Donaire to win by late stoppage. Rodriguez was a shinning star, with a lot of success expected in his career. Then he ran into the Japanese monster Godzilla Inoue, and was knocked out trying to punch with a puncher. If your right he'll get stopped late, If I'm right he'll turn the tables on Donaire, and once again embark on a career full of expected success in his career.

Jaron Ennis should be able to beat Thomas Dulorme a very capable fighter in his own right, and quite possibly the best fighter that Ennis has fought up to this point in his career. That said if Dulorme sticks to utilizing all of his boxing skills, there's a chance that he can out box Ennis in their fight. If he get caught though he's got major problems, just as all of Ennis's previous opponents have had.

At least there's a worthy substitute for this one, but still, damn, it feels like there isn't a single fight at the moment that ends up at the same date and venue as when it's announced

Well, I'm wrong in my predictions of fights about as much as I'm right. Probably a little more. Just because I love the fight game doesn't mean I know what I'm talking about!

Very disappointing. The Frenchman is one of the few remaining tests for Inoue at bantamweight, and this just sets back a potential matchup.
