Greaves is a good dude and has seen it all on the journeymen circuit.
He could be the greatest guy on the planet. But whomever was managing him had to be just cruel.

A journey man is 15 & 27. There was no point in new matches for 4 and 30 let alone 4 and 96. Sorry I don’t like this story representing boxing. This indicates a need for reform.

The point is after 96 beatings you aren’t even a good source of reference on your own life.

But for guys like you I guess we have to leave bread crumbs.

Either way, this guy should have found a new direction after 15 fights. Whomever was continuing to set him up with fights also needs 96 straight ass whoopins.
Are you just going to accuse everyone as this journeyman? It would benefit you if you just logged off and enjoyed a coke.

What does it matter if he is 0-100. That is the point in being a journeyman. You are paid to be a walking punching bag. You have experienced enough to give anyone a decent outing and tough time but you either do not have the goods to be great or you do not care to put in the time.

Someone may have a 9-5 job and be a journeyman because why not make a few thousand dollars for a nights worth of work?

Lol... Question is are you going to keep showing up like the journeyman?

Another UK Mildred trying to regulate everyone. Na’ll bro how about you log off. That is all that you have control over.

Besides, if anyone knows about coke it’s your brethren. The UK can’t send us a fighter without them using it as a pre-game.

I reckon a movie about the very early Wild West days of the UFC where a lot of guys didnt know what they were letting themselves in for could be great. The Gracie family looking to prove the effectiveness of BJJ. Nutjobs like Tank, Kimo and Harold Howard etc.

A dramatization of the rise and fall of Pride could be pretty cool too. Perhaps centered on Fedor.

Give it a few decades and a Jon Jones biopic could work considering how good he was in the cage and how much **** he got into outside of it.

A journey man is always going to be offered fights 'So I don't think it is all that bad'. They are traveling places and experiencing the game 'I am sure some of them, treat boxing as the side job'.

Journey men seem unique to boxing.

Lol... A journey man is not someone that fights so badly that he doesn’t have a chance to even protect himself. That is irresponsible management.

This is silly, there should be a law against this. This guy had 96 bouts in 6 years and was knocked out 12 times? How is this humane? You aren’t giving many a good outing. You aren’t even safe in the ring. There is no job in boxing where a guy who only won four times should be fighting 16 times a year. A journeyman in the Uk is clearly not treated as well as a journey man in the states.

Whatever, I get it it goes back to the money but it doesn’t sound like this guy could even defend himself. I am sure the job didn’t help his drug habit either as he was probably self medicating. Just feels like management let this kid down. Even if he was making 2k a night for 6 years that is only 32K a year. To repeatedly get your brain beat in with no hope? Some of his fights were a week apart? Luckily he is getting royalties for a book and movie. But why not bring back children working in coal mines if this ***** is acceptable?

Not all mma movies suck and boxing movies are by far not the best fighting movies in my opinion. First 4 rockys and cinderella man then after that crickets dont give me creed we all know that shh falls in line with the last 2 rockys n helps mess the series up like the last trilogy of star wars(thank u mandalarian for making star wars great again ) . MMA is young 28 year old sport mma stands for mixed martial arts (more than 1 form of martial art) therefore cause mma is more applicable to real life fights any bruce lee ,donnie yen ,tony jai ,jean claude van damm .Scott adkins movie is mma cause using more than 1 martial art. Plus there movies more action more entertainig. Bisping is legit play the role 6'2 205 rugged tough look is a real fighter thats tough yet playing a journeyman idk if 4 wins out 100 is journey or insane but yeah. Also we know its a movie so aint gotta be realistic try fighting like rocky balboa in a real boxing match or vs anyone thats a trained fighter in anything standing youll be lookin for micky to say get up rock .. Bruce lee invented MMA his style jet kun do is literally modified wing chun mixed with boxing mixed with judo mixed with fencing and pieces of other forms of arts. He aimed to end fights as quick as possible with as little damage n to be like water always ready to absorb form and adapt also military uses mma its multiple styles in 1 so war hand to hand combat is mma no rules. So Know history n what is fact so give me action movies all day over the 6 good to decent boxing movies
