    What is the latest age an heavyweight boxer can start boxing and be good ?

    Since most heavyweight boxers start late whats the latest age they can be successful at the sport

    good i presume is winning a title, i think someone could start at 29 and win the ibo at 30

      I would say early 20s at the latest. Wilder was about 20 IIRC. Nate Campbell, Sergio Martinez were late starters. If we're just talking HWs, Marciano was also 20

          Mid 20’s I’d say as a generalisation but it’s really a case by case basis. Depends a lot on their natural talent/athleticism.
