I think this modern era would be more kind to him than yesteryears era: he went against some heavy hitters: odlh, Trinidad, Moseley, cotto, the late great Vernon Forrest. All those guys were superior welterweight a than today's version. Errol may be marred with injuries, Shawn porter is mad short, Crawford is tiny, Danny Garcia is very basic. Although I don't think Ricardo can come back, he's too old, too much of them lit cigarettes. But definitely a fun fantasy matchup.

I think they all 50/50 fights, if Mayorga cant hurt you he not gonna beat you. I can see him hurting Thurman, porter, crawford, Spence stays tight so its alot harder to see him get hurt from Mayorga/

Mayorga is overrated, he got a lucky knockout against Forest the 1st time and then clearly loss the 2nd time and got a gift decision. Vargas was broken down with a bad back when he fought Mayorga.

Mayorga is one of those guys who can catch you with a lucky punch, and then lose a decision to a nobody.
