      He was talking about Lomachenko there. He was comparing Davis and Loma in terms of PPV. He's right.

        Except no one does it on their own. Davis had Santa Cruz which made for a compelling fight to Leo's fans.

          Winner!!! GGG did more with Jacobs and Lemeiux combined than the LSC fight. If Golovkin had fought Chavez Jr. long ago it would’ve done close to a million. Point is Mexican fighters have a healthy fan base for PPVs.

              This has been established for some time. Oscar started this trend.

                  Oscar really broke through as a PPV star. He captured both the Mexican and American fanbase. Even though a lot of Mexicans hated him after he beat Chavez, he would win them back soon after.

                    No doubt Santa Cruz is a big enough name to garner some interest. But in reality, it was a very safe bet for KO artist Davis, given that Leo moved up and has had two KOs in his last ten fights. It would have had a much bigger draw with a more dangerous opponent like Lopez or Lomachenko.
