Comments Thread For: Devin Haney Victory: Vegas Bettor Wins $4,800 From $240K

HOLLYWOOD, Fla.-Devin Haney's latest performance put another win on his record and a near $5,000 profit in the pocket of one enthusiastic gambler. A virtual 12-round shutout offered by Las Vegas' Haney (25-0, 15KOs) over Miami's Yuriorkis Gamboa (30-4, 18KOs) on Saturday generated favorable action at the sportsbooks, despite the unbeaten lightweight titlist emerging as high as a 50-1 favorite with some oddsmakers.

    If you’re only making 4800 profit from a 240k stake you’re a major loser, not a winner...

Why’s this even a news story btw.

      These threads are incredibly ******.

Who cares about $4.8k if you have $240 k to risk lol

Id rather hear about someone winning $5000 from a $50 bet or something.

How about that dumbass guy from UK that gambled and loss 5 million on picking Trump to win the election, lol.

I'm sure that money he didn't care to lose if he had it to gamble but that just sounds like a reckless way to lose 5 million. You know how much you can do to change a community around if you gave it there instead?

What a dumb bet. The guy must have his cash from inheritance or lottery win.

If you buy $250K in ******* and let it sit for a month then you’ll make way more than $4,000. Ive let $4,500 sit for a handful of months and it’s at over $7000.

I have a feeling the bettor won the lottery because he didn’t get that money by being educated.

5 million would do absolutely nothing. 15 trillion in total has been spent on “the war on poverty” with poverty rates having been the same since Johnson was President. Giving money to those in poverty does nothing. Point me to a poor man that creates jobs and wealth for others.
