There was an offer. It was confirmed by both parties on video. Even Danny has mentioned it, claiming “lowball”.

yeah the number they gave angel was low in their opinion. but he instructed them to call al and they never did. they never put anything to paper, never negotiated with the manager. they called the trainer and then ran around saying we made an offer. dumb but some people actually buy it.

Other than that, this is THE fight in boxing. Problem is, neither Crawford or Spence is as box office as their skill is worth. That's why this thing ain't easy.
              You make some great points.

I do understand demanding a lot but impossible money only to fight a no-hoper blow out for 5 times less makes all previous demands look like quitter cash. (Keith Thurman's $10 million dollar demand comes to mind)

That said, Errol is fighting Danny for 8 million and could make another one, maybe two from PPVs. It's substantial, maybe not Pacquio nor Canelo money but still...a...lot...of...money.

How do you know? Reaching pbc fighters for years has been like throwing your letter into the ether. Do you not remember Hearn reaching to Charlo for fights, Haymon never even letting Charlo know of the offers, forcing Hearn to reach out directly for Charlo, and Charlo pulling the usual “send it to Haymon”. Thus the bullsht cycle. Haymon ignores offer’s for fights where he doesn’t have everything to gain and nothing to lose. What were the opinions when GBP sent Charlo an offer? It didn’t happen etc, same thing, then it turned out it was true.

Getting your offer closest to the fighter as you can is an honest effort. If Danny Garcia wanted it like Crawford did he would have taken the offer to his manager. You excusing him is sad, whether it was Danny’s idea or his advisors, the fact is Crawford made an earnest effort, Garcia is more than happy to remain in Haymon’s pocket however.
