Haney looked good and sharp but I’m surprised he couldn’t even drop, let alone KO Gamboa. There was nothing on Gamboa’s punches the last few rounds and Haney had nothing to fear. Not sure where Haney goes from here. Maybe Linares? Very good boxer and a paper champ but I can’t see the top guys in the division wanting to fight him.

Haney beat Gamboa as he should've and as expected. Though Devin is talented, of his talents, pop is not one of them.
Teofimo is the top dog at 35, along with Davis, among the punchers there. Verdejo, step by step before leaps and bounds, is there as well.
When we find out more about Haney's chin, we'll find out whether or not he competes with any of those names.
The Floyd influence is there, and I can't say whether or not I think that's a good or bad thing? The Philly shell, the pull counters attempted, the leaping left hook around the guard, the hit and hold, the zero pop.
