Well sh.it we know Floyd is your baby Larry so no one will compare to him in your eyes

I mean Floyd was great but I could critique stuff on him too. But Haney, idk, he looks kind of awkward in there, and not in a good way. I always liked him but after tonight I'm just kind of like 'meh'

He still green...... No point in thinking too much until he steps up in competition

Yeah maybe when he steps up to top level competition, his style will mesh well with them and he will be a top fighter. But idk, I was just expecting more in this fight, and even that fight he had with Menard I was kind of like 'meh' especially considering Teo sparked Menard out in rd 1.

Devin Spadafora should consider moving to 130 and avoid tank or Lopez.

If he steps up he’ll lose convincingly IMO. The kid just ain’t got it in my opinion.

If that’s all you’ve observed, then there’s not much for me to say. Every top elite boxer had good match-making. The main thing is to focus on their all-around crafts when they step up in competition. Right now, nobody really stands out from the pact. They’re all on the same level. Canelo and Crawford have been crowned P4P kings, and yet those two guys are the exact definition of smoke and mirrors. Canelo has a better resume than Crawford but has a lot of questionable victories. Crawford is 33 years old and hasn’t had a career defining performance since beating a smaller Gamboa. They’re both good/great boxers, but there’s nothing extraordinary about them to me.

              He's not all that.

Lomachenko shouldn't have dropped the belt to avoid having to face Haney at some point.

This has to be dumbest post of all time in this forum. Your mom must have smoked and drink lots of beer and alcohol when she was pregnant with you for you to post something like this.

Haney is going to be a difficult fighter to beat due to his style and skill set, but as of now he lacks the dynamite and explosiveness of a young Floyd. He's far too defensive at this stage of his career but maybe he will get his grown man strength soon and will be more aggressive.

Haney needs to be put in with a pressure fighter that will get dirty with him and try to actually win. Gamboa now just goes in survival mode and wants to make it to the final bell. Nakatani would be a nice test for Haney.

Yep credit to Teo's team for taking that fight with Loma. Most guys at that stage play the long game

I don't really get the joke but Haney has a big frame, no way he is moving down anytime soon. I think him vs Tank is a good fight but Teo may be too explosive, who knows though.

I don't disagree on Canelo, Crawford's 'smoke and mirrors' is a little less to do with his matchmaking and more to do with him not being on the same side of the street as the other guys at 147. He did everything he could to my knowledge before 147. I can't say the same about Canelo below 160 but he's a great fighter too. But yes every guy has some smoke and mirrors. Otherwise you end up like Darnell Boone.

Idk about that version of events but yeah I always thought Haney was a safer fight than Teo and I have no doubts about that now.

That's a badge of honor from someone like you. One of the chief clowns of NSB. They may not be out and about tonight, but there was always a vocal 'Haney is next' crowd on here.

Doesn't even measure up to a faded Money May version of Floyd right now and to compare him to a a prime Pretty Boy Floyd is just absolutely preposterous borderline sacrilegious. He's young with room to grow in skills and strength but its just flat out premature maybe even flat out wrong to make any equivalency to Floyd.
