Plant has all the tools to really frustrate Canelo like Lara did. It would not surprise me if Canelo tastes Canvas in that fight. Plant’s punches do damage due to the speed and accuracy.
A Plant fight would also be very entertaining. If Canelo has any interest at fighting at 160 pounds again then Jermall must be his opponent if not then Caleb Plant would be a good fight.

Lol. This is casual fan talk. Why does Canelo have to go to 160 for Jermall Charlo? Jermall would be more comfortable at 168. Canelo already won belts at 160 and beat the P4P boogeyman. Charlo needs to have a significant win at 168 to even get a Canelo fight. Who has Charlo beat 160? Derevyanchenko? GGg already beat him. It does nothing for Canelo.

Jermall Charlo needs to own up and stop draining 20lbs for 160. , fight at 168 already

            They all do

              2x is enough.

Let Nelo continue chasing greatness while GGG cashes out.

Canelo vs. Plant will be a good one! If that's his next move, then the BEST next move for Jermall Charlo should be David Benavidez @ 168! If Texieira is forced to vacate his WBO SWW title, then PBC can have Jermell Charlo vs. Castano fight for the Undisputed @ 154 as the headliner, and Jermall vs. Benavidez as the co-main event! I'd pay for that ASAP! MAN UP!

Ryan has talent. But you have to take risks early in order to become a super star.

Floyd took risks with Gennaro Hernandez, Diego Corrales, Jose Luis Castillo, Philip Ndou, Zab Judah, etc before finally facing Delahoya at a weight he never fought at before and with pillow gloves while getting only 25 percent of the split.

Even Camelot had to take some risks with Austin Trout, Floyd Mayweather (not much of a risk, Erislandy Lara, and GGG (even though tried to wait him out).

On the flip side, it does seem like Ryan is somewhat willing to take a risk as he has been calling out Tank aggressively (though Tank is unproven at 135) and is taking a step up fight against Campbell.

PBC - Jermall Charlo, Sergey Derevyanchenko, Chris Eubanks jr, Caleb Plant, David Benevides.

                      TR - Murata?
