I was talking to a guy at my job who is like 6'3 and he said that in a street fight or boxing match he would beat up anyone that's shorter than him just because he's a taller guy. I even asked how he thinks he would do against a Pacquiao or Mayweather inside a ring and he said he'd destroy them. Now mind you this guy has no amateur/professional fighting background. Just a meathead who constantly lifts.

I fought a guy that was 6'3", I am 5'10". Getting under his jab while driving my right fist into his ribs was his down fall. I took many head butts to my face in that fight. I shoot in for his body and he covers up his head while leaning forward. I had a couple of small cuts from the headbutts, but he got a nasty gash over his eye from his last cover up. I saw that gash and just poured it on. I stopped him early in the 4th.

This was a Tuesday night fight card, on USA cable, at the Palace of Auburn Hills. I was called a swing bout because they had 2-10 round fights scheduled to be aired. If there was a knock out in either of those bouts I would have gotten on the broadcast. The bouts featured Alexander Zolkin against Tony Tubbs and Thomas Tate against Joe Lipsey. But both bouts went the distance. I remember in the dressing room that they were showing the fights on tv. It seems that there was a lot of holding in Zolkin vs Tubbs and it pissed me off. I really wanted that Tuesday Night Fights appearance on national tv.

True skill will over take his height and bring him back to earth. Tell your buddy that at work..........Rockin'

I understand exactly what he's feeling. I feel exactly the same way but fortunately my realistic side is quick to step in. This guy needs a dose of reality.

The guy is just a full of sh it bragger, It it were true all boxing champions would be tall for their weight. Short powerful boxers like Tyson, Marciano, Hagler, Canelo etc. would always lose to good taller boxers and that is not true.

Of course not. Mike Tyson chopped down his share of 6'5" HWs. Hagler and Leonard overcame Hearns height/reach advantages.
