Back to the topic. Haney is a paper champion plain and simple. He should be fighting Fortuna , but you know. Path of least resistance. Smaller fighter , shot, coming off one of the worst sports injuries available. Fortuna has been passed over alot. Haney should have manned up and given Fortuna a shot. Atleast Fortuna is a real lightweight. Gamboa is a 126/130 pound fighter when he was at his best. That was like 10 years ago. Haney , quit talking crap and grow a pair.

Ironically, the WBC should enable Haney to prove himself, but they are working against him by denying him a shot at the 'Franchise' champions -- Teofimo ,now makes two 135 'French-fries' champs, during Haney's reign.

Mauricio Sulaiman can create a 'Super-Franchise' , above the 'Franchise' title if he wants. Thats basically the same concept that is being applied here.

Probably but Haney isn’t that good, so he is irrelevant really.

          Lotta talk

Not a Teofimo fan but Haney wouldn't last 6 rounds unless running is his game plan.

Man Devin Haney is such a diik he’s never beaten anyone of substance and we all saw him get owned on showtime in sparring by a no body and to be honest his style is crap he’s just an o er aggressive you g man that doesn’t have much boxing skills he beats his opponents by out willing them he just throws punches at gloves when do you ever see him land good crisp clean shots you never do he only walks people down and punches there gloves he’s the worst out of all of the you g fighters coming up now what a waste of time it would be if he fought Teofimo he’d get knocked out or outclassed for sure and also the wbc franchise belt he’s trying to say doesn’t mean anything that’s the wbc s best belt to have that means that you’re the man that’s the highest achievement of belt and now he’s trying to say that the wbc president said that the franchise belt doesn’t count he never said that when Lama had it

It seems all boxing panels and experts rank Haney very highly in terms of skill and grade him top 2-3 at 135. Moreover, the media cant discuss the landscape of the lightweight division without bringing up the 'Dream' Devin Haney ; I say Haney is relevant.

That's probably what Valdez will do! He don't want that smoke! He has a much better chance to beat Berchelt than Stevenson! I just love that these young guys like Teofimo, Shakur, Boots, Vergil, are hungry, and they are not afraid to ask for the big fights! We always criticize the young guys who won't, so BIG UP to the young fighters that will!

Stevenson knows he wouldnt take it so that is why he said it Bronx, This is where you and i disagree on this issue. I respct your opinion about as much as anybodies here, but i think it is a bluff by Stevenson.

Top Rank were the ones pushing the "undisputed" thing?

                    Confirmed.
