Kid is just mad cuz he realizes the WBC is playing him and majority of the public know who the real champ is. He should show some spine and dump that fake belt. Not like he really earned it to begin with.

Haney is a paper champ that beat nobody to earn an interim title and was elevated to WBC champ when they game Loma franchise title. Haney has skills but is unproven untested and has a weak ass resume. If Ryan Garcia beats Campbell Ryan will have a better Resume

If Devin Haney dumps the WBC lightweight title, will the next two highest ranking contenders in the WBC rankings be considered 'Paper-champs' after winning the vacant WBC lightweight title?

Shouldnt the WBC 'Franchise' champion face the winner? Or is it logical that the IBF-WBA-WBO calls for mandatories for Lopez, but the WBC frees Teo of any obligation of their 'supposed' world-champion?

            I love these YGs!!!

Shakur Stevenson offers to fight Oscar Valdez on Dec. 12 as Berchelt replacement

After a water-tester fight at 130 in June, Stevenson vacated the WBO title and officially moved to the junior lightweight division. He feels Valdez simply doesn’t like the matchup against him:

“I’m not saying he’s scared or anything, but I don’t think he likes my style, I think my style is too much for him. I feel like right now it’s the perfect opportunity to fight him. Valdez has been in full training camp preparing for Berchelt, but I don’t think he should have to wait.”

The 23-year-old Stevenson making the challenge is bold, but it’s unlikely it will be accepted.

Brick City Stand Up! Valdez...MAN UP!

Why would Valdez take a fight against runnin azz Stevenson?? Does Stevenson hold the WBC strap?? Last I checked BERCHELT is the respected CHAMP.. tell Stevenson to KICK A BOULDER

If I was Teofimo Lopez I would relinquish the franchise title and face Devin Haney... Again, fact is Devin Haney is untested unproven and is a paper Champion who beat No 1

                    If i recall correctly

Didnt fat@ss Suliaman state that Loma/Lopez was for undisputed title?

An undisputed lightweight champion will be crowned this weekend. That is the official stance taken by the World Boxing Council (WBC), confirming that its reigni

Exactly. Why would Valdez take a fight when the WBC title is not up for grabs. Tell Stevenson to put his WBO title up for grabs then. This is all a ploy to make Valdez look like he is ducking this kid. Seriously that would be a ****** fight to accept, plus Stevenson knows Valdez has been training for a totally opposite style than Berchelts. This kid is a straight punk. I hope this punk gets knocked out soon.
