Povetkin is cool with Matchroom. I think he agreed to take a step aside so that Hearn and Arum can give Fury a date. that's a great gamble for Top Rank / ESPN viewership as well as Hearn getting a chance against Fury with Whyte. Povetkin just won by KO. He's in a good seat and doesn't need to prove anything to fans for the Whyte win, so the step aside situation works great for everybody.

Fans need to realize promoters can easily feed the press whatever narrative benefits them.

I mean ''hospitalized?'' That would be a serious situation and handicap for a boxer going to January for rescheduling.

                Another crack pot conspiracy theory.

Would you like a bet with me - points or sig control, that Fury and Whyte will not be fighting each other next?

If povetkin has required hospitalisation, unless it's just precautionary, I doubt that late January is feasible for him to be fully fit for a 12 round fight.
