    The Problem With Gervonta.....

and all these young fighters coming up tryna copy Mayweather path is that they will never be great doing this exhibition fights. sure it's great they are making money without risks but that's all they are gonna be.

they need to have the courage to step up and fight the fights they need to be in if they want to be remembered. just think of Mayweather, even if he fought and won against some greats he still gets irritated and jealous knowing he wont have the greatness those guys have because he never took the risk and fought them at their best.

who wants to bet he gon fight another can next time?

I dont see any current young talents surpassing Pac and Floyd. Maybe never..

I believe those two guys are the last of this generation. Boxing is going downhill here on out.

SAN ANTONIO – Floyd Mayweather didn’t attend the Gervonta Davis-Leo Santa Cruz press conference Thursday, but he was otherwise busy promoting their fight on one of the most prominent platforms in sports.

As you can see from above article, Mayweather already put hurdles up to delay a Lopez fight right before he fought Santa Cruz.
Eerily reminiscent of the same things he’s used to do when he was getting the push to face Pacquiao in 2009. Or when tank was pushed to fight Loma.

              I guess they aren’t “ready”

He isn’t a bum nor is he particularly undersized.

He KOed a respected champion at the weight that champion fights at. That is a good win in my book. Tank also has the highest KO percentage of any champion in boxing. he is doing OK.

Come on dude did you think before you posted this?

Leo is a multi division world champion with 1 close loss going into the Tank fight. If he is a can then 98% of opponents are cans.

You make a good point about guys wanting to earn the money Floyd has and the path they need to take to do so. However to act like Tank just got paid to beat up a bum n PPV is ridiculous.
