Whyte vs. Povetkin on the 21st?

I only just realized that they’re having the rematch at the end of this month.

How did they approve this fight after they both took so many heavy shots just a few weeks ago?

Especially after that brutal knockout endured by Whyte?

We’ve been talking on other threads how LSC should probably retire or take a year or two off after last night’s loss. Well, this would be like if LSC was back in the ring in a few weeks, only worse since heavyweights hit much harder than lightweights.

I’m a bit shocked tbh. HOW did this rematch get sanctioned so soon?

In America Whyte would have gotten a 3 month medical suspension where he wouldn’t even be allowed to train. Apparently the BBBoE gave him a 20 day medical suspension after being nearly decapitated.

I’m sad. This shouldn’t happen. I’m a bit worried for them both, but especially Whyte. Suffering consecutive head traumas can be life threatening.
