Not much dominating theyre doing right now. Probably won't ever again.

Talent doesn't discriminate based on economic levels.

Most of the top prospects, the ones that will dominate the incoming generation seem to be well-off normal dudes.
I don't think that stereotype adheres anymore.

Being poor makes you hungrier, but it will never give you talent.
No matter how much they may want it, a poor guy with no talent will never beat someone who has it.
Americans, in general, have lost their desire to fight, the amateurs have been declining for a good while now in America. The future will be from Europe, where they are having trouble generating wealth and many are struggling. That equals many more people willing to try boxing. It is in no way an easy sport, being 'hungry' is a big part of success in the sport. Those who are hungry will sacrifice what they need to in order to succeed. Those with natural talent will stay in the game though, it's just natural to them. Talent/determination and hunger. That's what's needed. Oh, and a huge set of ballz.......Rockin'

Of course not but if there isn’t the infrastructure and facilities to make the most of your talent.

When Francis Nnganou wanted to take up boxing in his native Cameroon there was pretty much no where to get involved. No good gyms (or any gyms), trainers, sparring partners or promoters.

Not much he could do apart from travel illegally across African to get to France where he could actually train and have a chance of succeeding

Historically and even now we have more african american champs and yet they get trashed when they win over and over again...

When African Americans win there is always so damn excuse..and when they lose this board celebrates like they just won the damn lotto

but let African Americans do that with a Hispanic or an eastern euro and we are called racist...

THEY LITERALLY STILL TRY TO ATTACK FLOYD WHEN NONE OF THE FIGHTERS THEY SUPPORT HAVE DONE 1/10TH OF WHAT HE HAS DONE.
Sorry but you're mistaken. Give us just ONE champ of any race or nationality, that doesn't get trashed or hated by some person or tribe. Black, white, hispanic, aisian, etc. It's the nature of fans to put a guy on a pedestal and then knock him off.
One reason that Floyd draws heat is because he loves the limelight and makes statements that are controversial. If a fighter claims to be TBE, you best believe he's gonna get some heat.

But black boxers become successful and the thug label follows them. Often despite their being past that rough upbringing. It’s caused them to be targeted, some would say. Rubin Carter, Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson... the list goes on.

Facts. I don’t think it’s a problem with the race but with the racism in America. I do believe the British fans see the verbiage used for black American boxers and continue the trend however.
