Is Davis elite? Last night was probably his best win and it was against an overmatched opponent in terms of size.

Don’t get me wrong, I think he’s really talented and think he could do great things but I’ll reserve the status of elite until he has better wins on a more level playing field. At least the other two entered the WBSS which doesn’t allow you to pick and choose fights and has very solid competition.


Either way I will say Tank probably did the best because he had the best opponent , even if the opponent was a bit undersized. Santa Cruz has been a proven world champion.

1. Inoue- As I said a few years ago, he's as good as any fighter in the world. Wonderful performance.
2. Tank- He had to work for his win as Leo put up a great fight and actually tried to win. As good of a counter uppercut as you will see.
3. Usyk- Far from a dominating performance but did what he had to do against a bigger HW.

All the elite fighters were expected to win. The odds on all of the fights weren't even close.

So not sure why we should care about performances as they all did what they were supposed to do, and heavily-favored to do.
