He’s got a lot of punching power, but he needs a way to land it. Disciplined boxers with a good reach and athleticism will be his kryptonite. He basically bullied Leo into a firefight and walked through all his shots to get him hurt bad to get that finish. He’d have to find another way vs someone as strong as him with good punching power.
How high can Davis' power take him

I like Tank as a fighter, but I think he’ll even struggle with the bigger 135 fighters like Lopez. 135 is his limit I think.
Anywhere above that is not really worth thinking about. He couldn’t live at 140 with a boiled down welterweight like Taylor.
I guess it would depend who’s in what division at what time, but as it stands right now, I think even at 135 against someone like Lopez he could struggle.
But that’s why weight classes exist.Comment

Davis power looked less impressive against Gamboa then it did with Cruz it seemsI like Tank as a fighter, but I think he’ll even struggle with the bigger 135 fighters like Lopez. 135 is his limit I think.

no shame in staying down. Someone with a jab or disciplined with length will keep him away. That's fine though, no reason to start measuring him against guys in higher weight classes.
Honestly, after being LSC, Loma, Mikey, and others just look basic at higher weights, I'm okay if he stays down so long as he doesn't feast on little guys exclusively.Comment

Gamboa is shorter and 13 years older than Tank. Yet Tank couldn't stop Gamboa until the 12th round.
Tank's power alone won't be as effective against the top guys at 135.Comment

A lot of people put too much emphasis on height. Yes he’s 5’5”, but boxing doesn’t go by height class, it goes by weight class. Davis is a bit of a tank when it comes to weight. Going by height, Joshua should not have been KO’ed by the considerable shorter (but bigger) man.
Another thing about height is that going by it is unreliable. You look at 5’11” Diego Corrales at 130. Then you see Dwight Muhammad Qawi who was 5’5” and fought at LHW, CW and HW. 5’11” RJJ even in his prime could not fight below 154.
So going by height is not very reliable. Gotta go by how heavy the boxer can get without bloating up. An example of a bad jump in weight, which was visibly obvious that he didn’t belong, was Mikey Garcia going up to 147 to fight Spence.Comment
