Mostly because of his speed, power, and explosiveness.
Well that’s one fight I’m pretty sure we won’t be seeing. Tank’s people will be happy to see Lopez vacate and move to 140.

Teo’s got the best promoter in boxing and the biggest sports network in the country behind him. The pressure should be on them to make the fight not the other way around.

You got a guy who’s beat nobody in the division claiming to be the top dog and being promoted as a “ppv star”. Then you have a guy who won a title and then unified with the best and actually is the top dog. Used to be that’s the guy fighters were gunning for, he didn’t have to go begging for fights.

Loma problem was the size/ power.

I doubt Davis would be so hesitant since he has just as much power

Remembering Lopez has an A grade jab and significant height and reach advantages over Davis.

Santa Cruz is no dam Featherweight he’s a lanky fighter who always said he can go up to 140 and win titles so let’s not say he was a featherweight.

He just never can punch even when he had physical advantages when he was at 118 and 122, once he got to 126 he punched like 5 year old

By cashing out against a more deadlier fighter cuz it paid less to take a sustained àśśwhooping especially in your own division!
