That was some uppercut. Great speed and leverage on that shot. Big win for Tank, I wonder how he will fare fighting regular-sized top lightweights.

This card was a literal lifesaver for them.
They just trying to get themselves fake hyped cause they saw how garbage Davis. I thought he was bad.
My god, the man is horrible.
When he gets starched, its going to be bad and its going to be by a guy hes going to be a massive favorite against.
Just cause people play this little game up where Tank is actually a gifted prospect.

Haney called out Loma, became his mando. Thats no PR stunt. Loma chose the franchise route over the straight up Haney fight so he could chase the IBF. Thats reality. No need to spin it.
it is when you know the guy you are calling out is already fightin someone better and higher ranked. fight me fight me!!! oh wow he's fighting the number 1 guy instead what a ducker!!!!! and once again there were never ever any offers to even make loma think about passing on lopez and going for haney which further cements my point that it was all for publicity and well done to him because now he has it.

They are offering life changing money but it's not just about that because it would be a big risk for me. -billie joe saunders
same exact thing jacobs said. life changing money isnt good enough huh but yeah ggg ducked saunders hmmm yeah sure

Again..I'm not calling Loma a duck, but the facts are the facts. You can't get mad at others from interpreting those facts differently than you or me.

Without worrying about step aside fees and purse bids since the mandatory hadn't been called yet.
Instead he chose to drop the belt rather than have the specter of the Haney fight looming AFTER Teofimo.
That's a duck.

But at the end of the day, Cruz took the fight. If u are to be mad at someone, be mad at him. I personally don’t like Davis’ cherry picking or inactivity but I think we all knew he’d win this. Th se guys at 135 need to fight each other. Floyd, dlh, Hearn and arum gotta cut the bs and make some fights!!!
I just called them sellouts.
Oscar tried to get him and Mares to stay but they went with Haymon.
They both are part of the group he tends to suggest to do things that are bad for their careers (Like Miguel Vazquez and his short brawler stint on pbc and Carlos Molina fighting defending right after being in prison(it being chicago probably tipped off by Haymon goons)), and Davis was a part of the group that feeds on these guys that move up.
I'm loving this.
I've been envisioning Santa Cruz paying for his decision and man did he pay for it.
Couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy.
As an added bonus, he made Davis look like absolute garbage so imo they both lost.
