I never made a prediction on this fight but? I did say, win or lose Chisora will expose Uysk at heavyweight 'People will understand that he is overrated'.

Uysk is just a straight forward, well schooled fighter 'He has zero attributes which you can deem as great' I never even rated him highly at cruiser-weight in comparison to David Haye.

I honestly think Enzo Maccarinelli before Haye ruined him? Was too fast and powerful for Usyk, there is a high chance he would of sparked Usyk out etc

WTF have I just read? lol

Usyk isn’t Wilder or Fury, people keep thinking everyone and they grandmother can beat Wilder just cuz Fury did lol

Find me a heavyweight ever like Fury and I’ll wait...

Ortiz hasn’t exactly done anything to show he’d beat Usyk, either. He’s old as all f uck and though he hits hardish, it isn’t elite HW power and the man gasses HARD.

I’ll say this though, Usyk is a mean dude and incredibly smart. The way he would force effort out of Chisora later in the fight and the other little things he’d do, like put his weight on Chisora’s back the whole time he pivots around him. He knew Chisora was gassed and like a killer would start the rounds off with hard body shots. Every time. His shot selection and the way he varies his punch speed and power is great too.

He was going for the finish but Chisora caught a second wind and in that moment, Usyk gave him the nod of respect and it looks like he made the decision that Chisora wasn’t going to out and he started putting a little less on his punches. He’s really fking smart. The way he’d wrestle him, you can tell even that was a test for him to check Chisora’s doneness. When he saw Chisora was easier to muscle around he’d pick it up a little. Move his feet a little quicker, etc.

After about the midway point, Chisora posed zero threat. The scores may read like it wasnt that big of a difference, but there was a massive difference narrative wise. Usyk was in complete control and this wasnt close once Usyk could almost at will catch most of his punches

Terribly outsized at HW though. if he was at CW, he’d reign as long as he wanted. I’m glad he’s daring to be great. He’s too big a talent for CW.

          • Tough fight but I gave the edge to Chisora, he won most of those early rounds and Usyk gets hit way too much. Usyk will not be able to compete with Fury, Joshua and Wilder level.

I actually like Usyk better but this wasn't a stepping out party into the top 5 heavyweights for me. Sorry bro
It went the way I thought it would, Chisora is a v.strong starter and Usyk a slow starter.

By the middle rounds Usyk was controlling the distance pretty easily.

It was a good fight overall, competitive to a point but as long as Usyk survived the first 3-4 rounds, he knew Chisora would gas and lose a bit of spirit.

Chisora is tough though, gives 100% for 12 rounds so credit due.

Maybe eek was the wrong word. I think Usyk will up his performance level against AJ. And AJ isn't as explosive as he once was and I don't think he'll want to stay in the pocket much. Usyk will have his successes and light AJ up at times. I see it being 7-5 or 8-4.
