    Tyson, he mastered the peekaboo style.

    Roy works off his insane reflexes rather than skill.

        Roy clearly had serious skills back in the day. Just ask his friend former 175 contender Ice John Scully who sparred with him and he would highlight all the areas of Jones skills. Boxers and Boxing insiders know that without a number of exceptional skills, a fighter can't get to the levels Jones did. It takes a combination of things to get to that level.

            Equal in skills, but Roy had insane reflexes.

              But did Jones have more skill than Tyson?

              Jones didn’t.

              Here is a good video by Teddy Atlas explaining it, Tyson always had better technique than Roy;

                  Tyson easily. Jones wasn't as skilled as other world class fighters. He had amazing speed and reflexes which more than compensated for it. But when he lost a step it really showed his lack of. His defence was basically non existent, he relied on his reflexes so much he never learned how to defend.

                    Roy was untouchable in his prime, a complete athlete with superhuman power and speed and most importantly discipline, something tyson lacked considering he lost to C level fighter buster douglas in his prime.
